This guy was a kid. 15 years later I show up and he's 9 feet tall and a Dad! Somehow though, Mike doesn't make me feel like an old man. I'm a Mac guy and in every group of friends there's the not-Mac-guy (he used to be the windows guy, but these days he's just as likely to be the Samsung-guy or the Android-guy... once, the Linux-guy) and Mike is my anti-Apple, keeping the fanboy in check and reminding everyone that it's not necessary to drink the koolaid to have a successful digital lifestyle.
He's easy going and casual which are amazing qualities for a parent in these perilous times. I love the way he sees the world and makes lemonade whenever life hands him lemons. He fills his life with good people and good times and I'm thrilled that I'm the kind of person that Mike calls a friend.
